Today I followed a video tutorial by Lee Brimlow, The tutorial explained setting up your phone and computer to deliver android apps. The tutorial is very good and is only 18 minutes long so why did it take me 4 ½ hours to complete? Any tutorial if followed correctly will involve you stopping at intervals and putting into practice the skills you are been shown, the problem I had was the web links you are asked to visit either do not exist anymore or have moved, so I had to hunt them down so to speak and just to make it more complicated some of the files you are asked to acquire have different names or are not needed with the new devices, never the less I have completed the tutorial and it actually works, see the screen captures below:

Below is a visual mock up that I created from the wire frames, I will use this mock up as part of my focus testing
Today I presented my project proposal to my lecturers and my fellow class mates, it went very well and the feedback that I received afterwards was extremely positive.
As part of my independent ActionScript 3.0 learning I have been looking at tutorials on Lynda.com but I also ordered myself a book called ActionScript 3.0 for Adobe Flash CS5 hopefully I will be off and running with it soon.
